It is also within walking distance of train street and the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. the rooms are comfortable with clean bathrooms and there is free water and a kettle provided. the staff is friendly and helpful, going out of their way to assist guests. the breakfast served is decent and substantial, offering a variety of options including fresh eggs and a second hot item.

There were some cleanliness issues in the rooms with cobwebs on the walls and ceilings.

The breakfast was quite average and didn't have much variety. the lack of a window in the room made it feel a bit stuffy and claustrophobic at times.

The receptionists are fluent in English and very friendly and helpful, especially Elly. the breakfast is served buffet-style and there are comfortable and clean beds. the staff cleans the property daily and changes the sheets. the location is very convenient and it's easy to organize tours through the hostel for reasonable prices. Lockers are available for big backpacks and there are small lights, shelves, and fans available for each bed, as well as air conditioning in the rooms. Drinking water is provided for free. it's a great place to stay.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The staff at Hay Hostel were incredibly helpful and friendly. When we arrived, they helped us with our luggage and even offered us a refreshing lemon drink. The beds in our room were big and comfortable, and we appreciated the privacy curtains. The bathroom was clean and the bedding was replaced daily. The breakfast was tasty, with a variety of options including sandwiches, salad, fruit, and cooked-to-order eggs. Despite a couple of minor issues like a slow-draining sink and water damage to one wall, our overall experience at Hay Hostel was excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
